Be a water drinker

Water rehydrates your body in the healthiest way possible. Get into the habit of drinking water at meal times and when you are thirsty. Be aware low sugar and diet drinks are just as harmful to teeth due to their high acid content. Have juice as a treat not as a regular drink.

Visit your dentist

Remember dental check ups on the NHS are free to everyone. Your dentist is not just an expert in teeth but will check your gums and all other areas of your mouth and jaws. Dentists are in an ideal position to spot early signs of damaging diseases. Book an appointment if you haven’t been for a while.
