Jenny graduated from Newcastle University in 2000 and worked in Newcastle Dental Hospital, in General Dental practice in Gateshead as well as in the Community Dental Service.  She completed the examination for Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and moved to Edinburgh in 2003 to study Orthodontics.

 

Orthodontic training took place in Edinburgh Dental Institute and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. During specialty training, Jenny completed a Masters degree at Edinburgh University. She passed her Membership in Orthodontics examinations in 2006 at the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh. She then did further training in Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Dundee Dental Hospital in order to become a Consultant Orthodontist in the hospital service and successfully completed Fellowship examinations.

 

Jenny was appointed to a Consultant post at Edinburgh Dental Institute in 2011 and worked there until December 2018. She treated patients with a variety of malocclusions requiring multi-disciplinary care.  She teaches within EDI and examines for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

 

Jenny has 3 children and is keen to work in a family orientated practice, so she joined the team at Family dental care in August 2019. Specialising in Orthodontics, Jenny enjoys working with adults and children to help them achieve dental health and a beautiful smile.

 

In her free time, Jenny likes travelling and spending time with family and friends.
